Healthy Pets of Lewis Center is the newest member of the Healthy Pets family. Healthy Pets of Lewis Center is located just off State Route 23 and Orange Road. We are proud to provide a full-service facility offering exceptional medical, surgical, boarding, and grooming services to Lewis Center and the surrounding areas.
Dr. Brian Carson, Medical Director
Dr. Carson grew up on a farm and ranch in southeast Kansas. After deciding to go to vet school he attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine from 1996 to 1998 then finished his clinical work at Kansas State University in 1999. After graduation he worked in a mixed animal practice in Lancaster, OH; a small animal practice in Westerville, Ohio; and did relief work around Central Ohio before joining the Healthy Pets team in 2012. Dr. Carson’s special interests include ultrasound and surgery, but thinks it’s important to stay well rounded in all disciplines. He is married to Donya who is an ER vet at MedVet in Worthington and has two children, River and Aspen. He has a 22-year-old parrot named Greenbird and a Lab mix named Jack.
Dr. Adriane Ventresca, CCRP
Dr. Ventresca received her B.S. in Animal Science and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University. She received her Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) designation from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Ventresca joined Healthy Pets in 2007, and splits her time between multiple Healthy Pets hospitals. Her special focus in canine rehabilitation often takes her to our Wedgewood location, where the aquatic treadmill and therapeutic laser equipment are located. Adriane has trained and showed dogs in conformation, obedience, and agility trials. She currently owns 4 dogs, one of which she shows in AKC conformation events.
