Dr. Shelly Long, Managing Doctor

dr-shelly-long

Dr. Shelly Long grew up in Parma, Ohio. She always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. She gained experience working at a pet store and then a vet clinic before heading to The Ohio State University. After completing three years of undergraduate work, she applied and was accepted to the College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating in 1998, Shelly moved to Clearwater, Florida, where she practiced veterinary medicine for three years. After enjoying the fun and sun in Florida, she and her husband Brian relocated to Columbus and she joined the Healthy Pets team. She currently enjoys working full time with the staff and clients of the Grove City office.

Besides having a strong interest in Internal Medicine and Surgery, Dr. Long also enjoys advanced dental procedures, including root canal surgery. Other family members include 3 dogs and a one-eyed cat named Matey.

Dr. Holly Hauser

Dr. Holly Hauser

Dr. Hauser currently resides in Ashville, Ohio with her 10 (yes 10!) Border Collie and Australian Shepherds.  Several of her crew are rescues and special needs kids (1 is blind, 1 is deaf and one both blind and deaf).  She is very active in agility training (even with the special needs kids), dog rescue and fostering.  In her “spare time” she enjoys traveling to the Outer Banks and Disney World.
